Question

Why is it taking forever to conceive?!

My fiancé and I had been trying to conceive for 6 months, finally got pregnant but ended in an ectopic pregnancy. I'm trying to conceive again and just wanted to know if there are any reasons why it took that long to conceive. Should I go see a doctor?

It's not taking forever sweet. If your both 35 or under it can take up to a year and that's perfectly normal.
I'm similar to you. We were TTC fo 5 months... I got pregnant and miscarried at 5.4 weeks.
I am currently 10dpo on our 6th attempt and our fingers are crossed!
It will happen. Follow all the advice and it should work soon. I understand the frustration completely though.

You have nothing to worry about it can take healthy couples up to 12 months to conceive and most drs won;t see you unless you have problems with your cycle or sperm problems or it's been over a year. I am now on 2 1/2 years of ttc and so far nothing. been tested and all is ok so it just takes time.
