Your body needs time to recover. Pregnancy and giving brith is a big deal and yes many women have kids close together but it does take a toll on them physically. Your muscles need to snap back before they get exonded again else you risk the chance Of them never really getting back to pre preg state . Having said that, if that's what you feel then by all means go for it :). My little one is 10 months old, we started ttcing when he turned 8 months for the same reason (close age) but I started physical training when he was 4 weeks old to make sure by 8 months I'd be back to pre preg shape and ready to get preg again. I don't feel any different now than I did pre-pregnancy. Have all the use of my muscles again and same amount of definition and everything lol. My midwife never said anything about waiting, though I have heard some other women say their doctors or midwives told them to wait X number of months before trying again... seems to be different with different docs

I feel exactly the same. I have an 18month old and a 3 month old and I am desperate to get pregnant again ..... Hopefully it happens soon. I loving the kids close in age and I eventually would like to return to work (when they are at school) so I won't be out of work for a decade.... Praying this is the month ! Good luck to you. I always wanted twins so if i fallpregnant, this is the closest I'm going to get

Glad I'm not the only one. If it happens this cycle they'll both be November babies <3 Hubby is on board now too. He still would like to wait til summer time but we aren't using protection (we've always used the pull out method, worked the whole time we used it) and he said if for whatever reason I get pregnant before summer he will still be just as excited then =) He has such a strong bond with our daughter and is super pumped about the idea of having another baby now lol. So I guess he's just as crazy as me =))
