Ovulation Blood Test
OK so I went to planned parenthood and voiced my concern about rather I'm ovulating or not,as well as got a papsmear. The nurse ordered blood test and said she would be able to let me know if I'm ovulating within a weeks time. I informed her I had a period on the 6th of that month and she said I most likely ovulated or was ovulating that day (19th) which my ovulation app guessed the 20th. Anyway two weeks later I called for my results and she said something about its based on a scale from 45-95 and that mine was a 64 and that it was remarkably high. So according to her I'm all good to go, probably just haven't been bding on the right day and most likely ovulated the day I came in. My question is does anybody know what kind of test that could have been? And what's the odds that I happen to ovulate the same day I went in?.She said that mean my ovaries are working fine but I'm still worried like how can a blood test tell though?

It was probably a progesterone level test. Progesterone is made by the ovary follicle that released the egg (called the corpus luteum) and is made from ovulation until your period.
If you don't ovulate then there is no corpus luteum to make progesterone so testing for it does prove that you have ovulated. Don't worry, it sounds like you are fine :)

The only thing I can think of that she might have been testing for with the scale you mentioned was your lutenizing hormone (LH) level. This level surges and is the trigger for ovulation. So a high level is a good sign you are ovulating.
Charting your temps will help you, it taught me loads about my body that I didn't know :)
Good luck and baby dust xx
