Question

Ovulation test work as a pregnancy test?

I think I'm pregnant as iv done a pregnancy test a day or two a go it was very very faint! Anyway Because of cramps I used an ovulation test tonight and the test line is stronger then the control line this is with in 10 seconds of dipping. (It's a very sensitive ovulation test) I don't know what to think! Has anyone had this to find out they where pregnant?

A positive HPT will tell you far more than any lines on an OPK in the luteal phase. OPKs are for detecting LH, not HCG.

It's true that opk are typically meant for detecting ovulation but I did in fact get a positive opk a good day and a half before the hpt picked it up so it does in fact work. Gl to you! Hopefully you'll get your bfp by tomorrow :) keep us posted :)
