WAS on Bc 15 years-How long does it take to get pregnant?
How long does it take to get pregnant after being on BC for 15 years, went off last week of Aug, I am ovulating normally, neg test last cycle and waiting till Dec 20th to test again but still no faint line and also is kinda early (11dpo)? I have read there is no waiting period but has anyone had an issue getting pregnant after BC for that long?

Hi, I was on b/c for 12 years and came off mirena in feb 2014. What type of B/c did you use? I had regular periods straight away but they are scant 1-2 days max, however it only took until July to conceive but sadly ended in cp, followed by 2 further m/c last yr. hope you have better luck but we still trying. I've noted I don't always ovulate and have been diagnosed with pcos so battling that too. Let's hope 2015 is both our year! X

I was on birth for about 15 year before I was married and began ttc. I was off BC about 5 or 6 months, and it only took 2 cycles to get bfp with my daughter.
After DD, I used the merania for a year and have been ttc #2 for over 2 years with one mc...... for me the birth control at first was what I blamed for fertility issues but after talking with several OBgyns, they belive the birth control was able to keep my endometriosis at bay allowing me to get pregnant.....I think infortunate answer is that there really isn't an answer every person body and pregnancy are also different they really just don't know
