Ovulation Tests Inconclusive?

I have been using cheapy ovulation tests twice a day this cycle. The lines have become more dark (but not positive yet) and so I also used a Clear Blue ovulation test. This came back with a smiley face, so in their words, 'peak fertility.' The cheap ovulation test was very dark, but still not quite positive. I've been tracking my mucus too, and it's been slippery and egg whitey today and yesterday but not quite clear...I'm confused as to whether or not I have ovulated? Please help!
