Question

Low HCG first draw...any hope?

My HCG on first draw was a 17...very low. My progesterone is 24, and I have taken pee tests in the 2 days since and the line is getting darker (testing HCG in blood on 3rd day). I am scared because I have had two MC's in the past 6 months and fear this will either be a CP or MC. Any hope of successful pregnancy with such a low HCG?

With my second child the first HCG was at 25 and kept doubling ~ every 48 hours. With your repeat test you will know more. I would not worry at this point as the HCG has to start somewhere. What counts is whether it will double. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.

Thank you Phillips! Great to hear about your successful outcome. After 2 MC's and constant battles getting HCG up there, I am going to worry until I see actually see a heartbeat...seems so far away at just 17 HCG.
