Am I miscarrying?

2 days ago, I had some brownish spotting that turned into red spotting. no cramps or pain at all. I rushed to the ER and the HCG level is 3745. According to the ultrasound, I am measuring 5w4 days and not the 6w4d I thought (based on my ovulation date).

The doctor told me that everything is looking normal. He will do an ultrasound this Friday 12/12.

Am I miscarrying? this is all so scary to me since I had a stillborn at full term 3 mos ago.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

I would do another HCG blood test to see if the number is doubling within ~48 hours. This will give you more information prior to the ultrasound on Friday. I hope everything will turn out well. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.
