Question

Has anyone experienced numbness in hands as a possible symptom of pregnancy?

I've noticed that for the last few days (probably 9 to 11 DPO), my hands and forearms have been going numb when doing normal things such as doing things on my smartphone, or holding up a book to read. Could this possibly be a sign of pregnancy, or am I simply getting some sort of sudden-onset carpal tunnel on both sides? This is SO strange.

I haven't tested yet, as I want to avoid testing too early and being disappointed. But perhaps I will be tempted to in the morning...

I had carpel-tunnel with my first but it was later on in the pregnancy.... But it could be.... The reason why you get carpel tunnel while preggo is because your veins expend to allow more blood go through your body and it causes pressure on the nerves and you get that numb feeling in your hands and fingers....

I also suffered from carpal tunnel syndrome during pregnancy but later just like Leah&Emilysmom88. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.
