Question

Pregnant ladies please help..How many days does it usually take to show any symptoms?

I am 8 dpo and don't have a single symptom yet. Is it too early or should I give up hopes this cycle? How many days did it take for you to show the actual symptoms?? When does implantation occur? I heard 10-12 days after ovulation. Is that about right?

Implantation can happen anywhere from 6-12ish dpo, so its still kinda early for symptoms if the egg has yet to implant. I wouldnt give up hope just yet, its still crazy early! As for symptoms, thats different for every woman and every pregnancy that woman has. I've had two pregnancies, 1 of each, and havent had symptoms with either (throughout the entire pregnancy). So even if u do get a BFP and hit 8, 10, 12wks without feeling any different than u usually do when not pregnant, its not a bad sign, its just the way this pregnancy is working for u!
Good luck! =))

I fully agree with dakotagurrl. I am 19 dpo with a positive pregnancy test at 15 dpo. So far the HCG is doubling but I do not feel a single pregnancy symptom. Don't give up your hopes for this cycle just because you don't have any symptoms now. Not only is it too early for true pregnancy symptoms but you also might never get any during pregnancy. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.

Like dakotagurrl said, implantation happens 6-12DPO, most commonly at 9DPO.
With this cycle, I started getting symptoms around 11DPO, which is the same time I got my BFP. My symptoms were pretty similar to BFN cycles- bloating, cramping, stuff like that, but then around 14DPO, I got new symptoms like sensitive sense of smell, increased CM, and nausea.

I had symptoms right from implantation day until about 4 weeks and then they disappeared til about 6 weeks. The symptoms were very subtle though before 6 weeks. I had been trying for 6 1/2 years and been through many iui and ivf cycles so that really helped me be more in tune with my body and recognize small sensations and where they were located (uterus, ovaries, cervix, etc). Also if I hadn't been pregnant before I don't know if I would have known what to look for. Early on it was mostly just little pokes, pinches and tingly sensations. I also had major insomnia. They were very signs easy to miss or just write off as not being pregnancy related.
