I had mirena for 3 years too. I'm now on cycle #32 ttc. We have been ttc for 2 1/2 years. We can't afford a fertility specialist either. I went to my gyno and had blood tests done and all that. Everything is perfectly normal. Hubby had an SA done. All fine there. I've done 10 cycles on clomid with no success. I'm now back to clomid again. I do think the mirena has had something to do with how long it's taking.

I have read that some people get off the mirena and conceive right away but that doesn't seem to be the case here I was really excited when I got off the mirena and read all the success stories of people conceiving right away some even that first month. My dh has given up and thinks it's not going to happen I wish I would have never done the mirena now

Try not to blame the mirena. There's no way of knowing if it's truly the reason or not. A perfectly healthy couple in their 20s only have a 20% chance each cycle. Have u talked to ur gyno about fertility testing? My DH gave up a year ago but is happy to continue ttc only cuz he gets laid! Lol! Feel free to message me if u have questions.
