Question

Ectopic?

I should have ovulated yesterday. Tonight around 10 I started with nausea and cramping in one ovary. The pain kept getting worse to the point I was in tears plus back pain and now I'm on my way to the ER to see what's going. Does it sound like ectopic?

Symptoms related to an ectopic pregnancy appear between weeks 5 and 14 of a pregnancy. If you have a handle on your cycles and you are sure this is your ovulation time frame the pain cannot be related to an ectopic pregnancy unless you became pregnant earlier without knowing. On the other hand some women do experience extreme ovulation pains. I am glad you are getting things checked out. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.

It was an ovarian cyst and my first ovulation in 3 years - those 2 combined made for some excruciating pain!
