baby Asprin and Heparin anyone been prescribed this and want to share?
Last month We did get a bfp, but AF showed up 2 days later. Dr called a "chemical pregnancy" and since it is the 4th loss this year we were referred to a RE. We have had 3 chemicals and a loss at 8.5 weeks. The RE put me on baby asprin and said to come in immediately when we get a BFP to be started on heparin shots. Has anyone had any experience with this? I am currently 2 DPO (crazy early I know) and am having sharp pain between my navel and pubic bone, so my really low abdomen. It even hurts to the touch. I have one episode of watery brown spotting this morning and one episode of cervical mucas with a light pink tint this afternoon just before the cramps started. Could this be implantation? Im wondering if it is realted to the aspirin?

memberIf you are 2 dpo it is too early for implantation. Implantation occurs most often 7-11 dpo, 6dpo at the earliest. Spotting and light pink mucus in my experience is not related to the use of low dose aspirin (baby aspirin). After 3 consecutive miscarriages I was diagnosed with the antiphospholipid syndrome and am on baby aspirin any time while TTC. With a positive pregnancy test I immediately start Lovenox injections twice daily. We used Heparin during my second pregnancy but switched to Lovenox with my next two pregnancies as Lovenox is a better product. It is important to start the blood thinners right away after a pos HPT. In my case if there is a delay with the start of the medications I will most likely face another loss. I had 6 miscarriages in the past 10 years but because of low dose aspirin and Lovenox I was able to have 3 more children in addition to our first one.
