Started Progesterone immediately after ovulation, pleaseeee help
My gynaecologist put me on progesterone 200mg vaginal tablets thrice a day after i ovulated. I am 14 dpo now, got some pain in chest yesterday and today having backache n mild headache. I am wondering if i could be Pregnant or progesterone moking the pregnancy sysmptom. Have been trying soooo last 2 yrs...always get 1 line on HPT. Is anybody else taking progesterone to conceive? Are you facing symptoms like this?

My RE put me on 200mg of progesterone, also vaginal. And my biggest side effect was heart palpitations and shortness of breath. It was all the day the first day after and then slowly tapered off. i still notice some shortness of breath but not like the first few days on it. I have 1 day left of progesterone and then I test to see if I am pregnant.
**And yes it is the progesterone that gives you most of your PG symptoms, naturally, when you are not supplementing. Hence, absolutely you will feel PG symptoms while supplementing. So just wait to test when your doc tells you. It is mental agony to start analyzing every single thing you feel and then it turns out to be menstrual symptoms, which unfortunately ALSO feel the same as PG.
PLUS, the progesterone will delay your menstrual cycle. Another reason why RE/docs give women progesterone, if someone has a short luteal phase then the progesterone will stop/delay the menstrual cycle so the fertilized egg has a chance to implant.
