Feeling defeated, is there a point when you should just give up trying :(

I have PCOS. Had the 21 day ultrasound and bloodwork done last Friday. Found multiple cysts on both ovaries and today I got the bloodwork back. .5 for progesterone and something else came back inconclusive so have to give more blood tomorrow. I have been trying for #2 for 6 years. 6 years of BFN. Here is the kicker I have been having normal periods and positive OPK every month but apparently I have not been ovulating. I just wanna scream, especially after just leaving walmart and a mom with 2 small children and huge baby bump was infront of me in line. I am just wondering if I should give up and quit putting myself through this hell every month. Sorry to vent.

We went through 13 years of unexplained infertility. After 3 failed IVFs and 2 failed GIFT procedures we finally conceived through ZIFT. After that we conceived 3 more children naturally at ages 39, 42 and 45....but not without experiencing 6 miscarriages in the last 10 years. My story shows that you cannot tell what God has in mind for your life. I understand very well where you are coming from and "pain tolerances" for waiting it out vary not only from person to person but also depend on where you are in your life. We have been TTC #5 with the help of a dr and medicated cycles for the past 16+ months without success so far. And yes, it is getting to the point where I am ready to give it a rest for good. Consider your situation prayerfully. I hope you will come to a peaceful resolution about TTC. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.
