I had the same one cycle ago. Very weird period. I hoped it was implantation bleeding that started at 12 dpo but unfortunately it was the witch. Until now I can't understand why it was so different.

I have the same thing happen before each period. I spot for at least 4 days then get full flow for 4 days then spot again for 2 days. Sounds like your period I am sorry.

I had breakthrough bleeding also for two months, never had it before. Come to find out my thyroid was out of whack. We tried for 9 months (never had a problem conceiving previously) before I ended up finding out this month that I was finally pregnant and it all had to do with my hypothyroidism. Have you had your thyroid checked lately? It causes ALOT of hormonal changes when it is not normal!
