12 day period, but lining and ovaries look "great".

Okay, I have been on my period for 12 days now. It has been very light for the last 6, but I am still losing lining and bleeding red, sometimes pink, sometimes brown, but mostly red. I am on Follistim, 100 iu for days 3-6 of cycle, and 75 iu for days 7-12. I am preparing for my second IUI cycle. My doctor is very pleased with the way my uterine lining is thickening, and she cannot tell why I would still be bleeding. She seems to think we will go through with the IUI on Friday or Saturday, and I trust her judgement, but I just want to know if anyone out there has had this happen and successfully conceived. Am I alone in this? Has anyone gone through it? Did everything turn out okay? Thanks!
