Anyone else?
I know I ovulate, and for the past 15 months, I have been ovulating. But my ob/gyn put me on 50mg of clomid... I told her that I knew I ovulated (opk, cm, and pain) so, she told me it was supposed to just boost my ovulation. But is that even necessary? I've read that being put on clomid, or taking a too high dosage can decrease your chances of falling pregnant. Is that true?

I was put on Clomid as well and was excited about it but it ended up being a bad drug for me, personally. It definitely increased my follicle count but it thinned my uterine lining so badly I could not possibly have gotten pregnant on it. That is something to consider and they may want to give you a mid-cycle ultrasound to make sure it doesn't do that to you. GL!

I was on Clomid for 4 months before my doc finally agreed to an u/s, and my lining was only 4.5mm at that time. Not sure if it thinned my lining immediately or if it "got worse" each month. I know I didn't feel any different though, I don't think you can feel whether the lining gets thinner. Then again many women don't get that effect but I thought I would warn you about the possibility!

I Jane Ben ttc for 9 months. I also ovulate normally, had every test done, hubby tested, ultra sounds etc. And all its good. Doc said it is a boost as well. I'm also concerned because he is automatically putting me at 100mg. I asked why and of course better odds then going three rounds on 50mg. I trust him so I'm going to go with it.
