17days dpo ... Scared to test!!!

My Fiancé and I have been TTC for 4 months- I'm getting depressed by the negative results. I use ovulation predictor kits. Right now I'm 17dpo. I was due to start period today- no show at the moment. But for the past 6/7 days I've been having pinching pains on the left of my womb- similar to ovulation pains but slightly different area. I've also had a few back twinges and sore nips on a few of these days. These are not normal pre period things for me.
Today my womb feels 'heavy' with same stabbing pains on left, now accompanied by my usual 'here comes your period' dull aches.
I did a test yesterday and it was negative.
But I 'feel' pregnant. Maybe I'm over analysing.ð???
Im a very impatient person and I'm worried every time I go to the loo. ð???
Extra info- I had two older daughters. Felt nothing with first but second I got implantation pain for an hour. Neither had any other pregnancy side effects. Very good pregnancies. This pregnancy is with a different guy
