Question

Hot pants!!!

I have been feeling like I have a fever for the past week. My skin is hot, when I breath I can feel the heat coming out of my nose....and today. Today at work I of course feel hotter than normal to the point that i can feel the heat in my legs through my pants. I looked it up and have read that this too could be a sign of early pregnancy which if i am I would be about 2 weeks almost. Early I know, but I have read other womans stories about this and they noticed this about the same time that I did before they knew they were pregnant. Can anyone of you relate??? I checked my temp today ( i literaly went and brought a thermometer this morning because of this) and it was 99.0 the first time. I checked 2 other times and it was 98.9 then 99.0 again. I did not check my temp when i first woke up though but I will be sure to check it before i get out of bed tomorrow morning. I also learned that this temp is quite normal after ovulation but is also similar to pregnant woman in the early stages.

Unfortunately, the only thing your temps are telling you right now is that you do not have a fever. The medical community considers anything from 98.6-100.3 to be considered within normal range of a healthy body temp. If you chart your bbt and notice 18 consecutive days after o of elevated temps (above your coverline), that indicates pregnancy. What you're probably feeling is the side effects of the progesterone spike that occurs after o. Progesterone makes you feel hot. That will occurs in both pregnant and non pregnant cycles. So unless you've been charting all month, a single temp tells you nothing. At this point you'll just have to wait and see! Gl!

Thanks EAG923. I definitely understand that it is normal after ovulating. The reason why I am paying so much attention to it is because I never ever feel like I have a fever or the flu unless I am actually sick. Turns out I'm not sick but I just feel the heat coming from my body and NEVER felt this way after ovulating but sometimes feeling cold. It's weird, my sister even said I was really hot after feeling me. Being hot is only one of the many sysmptoms i am feeling so I am just praying that this is another sign to add to the list. I am 11dpo from what my chart says and period is expected to come this saturday which is two more days. I never did the bbt checking until today because i wanted to make sure i didn't have a fever. But if this month doesn't turn out to be what I think it will ....I will try again next month and make it a daily habit to check my temp so I know the difference besides what I have felt before verses what I have never felt before lol. Thanks again!
