Bleeding on cycle day 17 (2dpo) NEED ADVICE PLEASE!!
I'm cycle day 17 & 2dpo. I quit using my birth control at the end of last months cycle (during the sugar pills) I have been charting like crazy & yesterday I noticed some light pink/light red blood mixed in with cervical mucous when I wiped after using the bathroom. I thought nothing of it & went about my day being that I had some cramps earlier on. Well the rest of the day I had nothing when I would use the bathroom. I woke jp in the middle of the night & there was more. Well this morning I woke up & it was like AF had came in full force (AF isn't due till 11/13/14) I have no cramps just a little discomfort but nothing alarming. Could what I be experiencing is ovulation or something different?! Could I have ovulated later than I thought & this is what ovulation bleeding is or could I have O'd earlier than thought & this is implantation bleeding?!? Someone please help! I should note that I stopped taking my BC pills last month when AF came & I haven't ta

Omg! I'm in the exact same boat!!! I stopped my birth control pills at the end of the cycle (during the sugar pills) My AF came as normal on October 18th and as of yesterday I'm cramping very slightly and have some light bleeding. Not enough for a pad or tampon. (AF isn't due until 11/15/14). I'm thinking it's the hormones!

I saw on a previous question where you said you were using an app to pinpoint o. I would be very cautious doing that coming off of bc. In avg, it takes up to 6 mos to regulate after stopping the pill. At this point you don't even know how long your cycles are going to be because the pill is what tells your body to be 28 days. When I stopped the pill, it took me 3 mos to begin ovulating again and my cycles went to 31 days. After my first child, they went to 27. So cycle length and fertile days can be easily influenced by outside changes. Be patient and give your body time. Gl

Coming off the pill can give you spotting at various points in your cycle as your hormones try to regulate themselves. Unless you temp/chart your BBT you don't really know for sure when you ovulated, as CM and ovary pains can be a bit unreliable as indicators of the day (and OPK surges can happen without ovulation occurring). If you are curious about your cycle I would start BBT charting next cycle if/when you get AF :) GL!

I have the same going on.. I got my nexplanon removed sep 22.. had af on Oct 10. And I've been spotting brown for a few days. Then yesterday it turned red. Only a gush then noticed more.. then today some drops but haven't had to.wear a liner or anything. ..so I'm confused. .. :/ if it's my cycle ..it's a week early ..leaving my cycle 20 days.. and that means I'm definitely not ovulating! :(

Luv is correct. Unfortunately, you could have been trying to ovulate and therefore had the signs, but didn't actually release the egg. I get ovulation pain from time to time but know I'm not ovulating because I'm currently on the pill. If you did ovulate when you say you did, then you will get either a bfp or AF approx 2 weeks later. Best wishes!
