Question

Would taking cerazette (mini pill) kickstart my periods?

I'm bfing but DD is 1yr old now and I have no periods yet. Would I have to take it for a month or longer?
I don't want my milk to dry up so combined pill is a no.

You should check with your dr.
For me, I already had my AF back when I started taking the mini pill. It did nothing to help regulate my cycle. In the 10 months I was on it my cycle was all over the place!!

I've never taken the mini pill so I can't help with that but I can understand the frustration of wanting to keep breastfeeding and wanting to try for a second baby. I'm still nursing my daughter at almost 20 months. My periods didn't return until she was just shy of 17 months. I worked to get her down to about 4 nursing sessions a day with no night feeds and that seemed to be enough to get my body back on track. Hang in there! I know how hard it can be! Good luck!

I used to take cerazzette and it stopped my periods altogether.
