Sex and OPKs...

Can taking an OPK following dtd cause you to have a false positive?! I was having what I thought was fertile CM and my cervix was really high so we dtd. I didn't take the OPK until after. I'm hoping it was a true positive and not just because of when I tested.

Please help! Thanks!

It most certainly cannot cause a false positive. Thats a legit surge.

Like dakotagirrl said, sex won't sway the results at all! A positive OPK is caused by a surge in LH in your body, and sex will not cause your hormones to react in a way that would give you a false positive!
