Question

Hoping my BFN was because I tested too early?

Hi ladies :) Newbie here - I ovulated on day 12 of my 28 day cycle (using OPK) AF is due Friday. DH and I are trying to conceive (month #2) - I took an early preggo test today and got a BFN :( Since I ovulate earlier in my cycle - I would think that I would get a BFP earlier... but perhaps I'm incorrect in this thinking? How likely is it that I could be pregnant even though I'm not getting a positive?

I just asked the same question. I got a BFN today at 11dpo (af due Sat). Really bummed me out. Hopefully someone will give us some hope.

Me too :( It's so stressful - I'm wasting so much money on pregnancy tests - but I can't help myself.... Good to know that I'm not alone - thank you for posting! :)

A lot of factors go into testing. You usually get accurate result about 2 weeks after o. However, if there was any delay on when you actually released the egg in relation to when you got the opk, then that will affect when AF is due & when to test. You typically ovulate about 12-36 hrs after you get your pos, however that isn't a guarantee. Whatever your scenario, I hope you get your bfp soon! Gl
