Bbt temping help please?
I have been temping this cycle and my cover line is 97.2-97.5 and my temp after ovulation is 98.1-98.2 im due for af this friday and my temps have been 98.7-98.9 and during the mid day its 98.4. I have a pap smear last week and the ob said my cervix and uterus was pretty high and she had to push on my belly just to feel it. I took a test and got negative but I dont remember ever getting this high of temps last cycle. Of course I didnt keep up with it either. Is this a good sign or normal to go up than it will go down by friday?

How long have you been charting for? I hear that you have to track for a few months to see what "the norm" is for your body, as everyone is different. This is only my second month charting and I have already seen a huge difference from last cycle, like there isn't a single thing similar about them! I don't think how high your temp is holds much weight, but rather 1) is there a shift from low to high temps (indicating ovulation) and 2) is the temp staying above the coverline the entire luteal phase. If it doesn't decline before your expected period there is a good chance of pregnancy, but some women decline a day or two after their period comes. I wish it was easier or more black and white. I'm due Friday for mine as well and hoping my temps stay high! Good luck!

Good luck:) Iwish it was too but iI been trying to chart for months and forget to temp at same time every day. My temp went from 97.2 to 98.2 and then here recently has been 98.7-98.9 in the am only. In the afternoon its 98.4. I forget to temp last few cycles before getting out of bed. Been over sleeping and rushing to get my daughter up and ready for school.
