Question

When would you test?

Ladies, I am ttc #3. Have no clue how long my cycles are or anything. I haven't had one in a while until the beginning of this month and I took provera to jump start it.... so testing for pregnancy. . When should i start? And how long could my cycle really go.. the normal I know is 28-30 days.. could it go to 40+??

The book Taking Charge of your fertility by Randine Lewis says you can still test 18 days after ovulation if you're testing by urine (instead of blood). Cycles can be really long, even longer than 40 days (if you have something like PCOS), but it you know when you ovulated, then I would test 18 days after that. Good luck!
