Question

I desperately need advice on how to stay sane!

I think I just need some help calming down. Two years ago my husband and I got pregnant by accident and had a mc at 6 weeks. I had a bad feeling that something was wrong. I was in constant pain all the time.

Now, after receiving two faint positives and a positive digital, I am now 3w7d pregnant and I am kind of losing my mind! I am trying not to worry but at the same time I am trying to get excited and then I worry about getting too excited! This whole baby thing is nerve racking! What can I do to calm down?! I am supposed to be writing a novel but I can't seem to focus.

I also have uterine fibroids which can cause problems. I have a good feeling about this one but I can't help but be a little nervous. Any advice on how to stay sane would be greatly appreciated!

I can very much relate to you and a lot of ladies on here can. I had a miscarriage for a blighted ovum and had a d&c at 10 weeks. I had a sixth sense about that pregnancy too and insisted on a scan which is how it was discovered. I then fell pregnant straight after. Unlike u tho I had a really bad feeling about that one too and sure enough it ended early with a natural miscarriage. BUT I fell pregnant the next time I ovulated (two weeks later) and even tho I had a really good feeling about that pregnancy I was a hot mess! My good feeling was right and I had an incident free pregnancy and a big baby girl! It is hard, I know but you need to surrender to the process. It is out of your hands now and there is nothing you can do to change the outcome. I'm sure you'll typing with one hand while bouncing a baby on your knee with the other before you know it! Fx'd for you. :)

It's great you have a good feeling about this baby! Try to focuse on being excited and just put the negative out of your mind. Stress is bad for the baby. I had a miscarriage at 15.5 weeks along & got pregnant 3 months later and had to work on not worrying & wondering if everything was going to be okay. I breathed a sign of relief when I hit 5 months. Congrats on your pregnancy!!!

I'm right there with you. I had a miscarriage 9 weeks ago, and I'm currently 4w6d with my second baby. I also had a bad feeling about my previous pregnancy and I feel completely different this time. But I find myself freaking out at every little cramp, tugging sensation I get lol I just try to breathe and remind myself that if this baby is meant to be then it will. If not, it will join it's sibling in heaven. Stay positive!
