Question

In need of some advice from a fellow gal! (Fertility)

I am struggling to get pregnant. I have been trying for 4 months now, and I really want to have a baby with the love of my life, Some days are easier than others but this is really frusterating. I take prenatal vitamins, i eat mostly healthy, I excercise. And I could use some advice on what to do. I am stuck. I want this baby so bad that every month when I get my period, I getso upset and depressed. What should I do?

4 months is no time at all. It can take healthy couple up to a year to conceive. It took me 2 and half years to get pregnant with my daughter who is now 8. Have been trying to get pregnant with my second for 6 years. Try using ovulation test every month. Good Luck.

Yes ovulation tests, tracking your cm, temping & cervix position are some good things to start charting. I took some extra folic acid everyday & did pelvic massages to help me get pregnant this time. Hope this helps. GL!!!

Improving your diet can help. Avoiding caffeine, sugar, white flour products, and dairy can be helpful. Eat enough leafy dark greens, berries, nuts, avocados, and sea vegetables like Spirulina. Adding a vit B complex, flax oil and fishoil + vit D can also improve your fertility. Otherwise as previously already mentioned BBT charting, OPKs, and patience. I hope it will happen for you soon. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.

Thats very good advice from Phillips. Don't forget there's things your partner can do too. Too often we feel all the responsibility but zinc, flax seed and fish oil and perhaps some vitamin E can help his sperm health. Sperm begins its life around three months before it is ready for its debut :/ so he needs to start sooner rather than later to see any potential results. :)

It sounds like you are doing what you can do to get pregnant! Keep in mind that there is only a 20% chance per month (at best) of getting pregnant, and that isn't cumulative (meaning it isn't 100% in 5 months). Each month is a new roll of the dice. 4 months is really not long at all and you shouldn't worry already about it. Just keep doing what you're doing and be as healthy as possible. If you reach the 1-year mark and still nothing, then your doctor will want to give you tests and see if they can speed it up. But think patience in the meantime! GL!

I agree four months is not a long time. I'm going on 8 months and got checked as well as husband and both are good. I even have had two ultrasounds on the day I get my positive on the OPK and doctor see the cyst ready to release egg. I've been eating right, no alcohol, vitamins, acupuncture, Chinese herbs as well. This month I'm now trying preseed and soft cups. If you stress too much now you could make it harder with the stress. I hate it too when people tell me not to stress but you have to try!! Good luck
