Question

TTC after colposcopy and appendectomy.

Hi ladies! I wpuld like to have some help in here... I been TTC since January 2014 and finally I got pregnant in June but I had a miscarriage on 07/18/14.. I was 5 weeks and reason of miscarriage was ectopic pregnancy. I had a colposcopy done on 07/31/14. I wanted to try and conceive again but I had really bad abdominal pain and resulted on acute appendicitis. Had appendectomy done on 08/25/14. It's been 2 months since the surgery. Is it safe to start TTC now or should I wait a bit longer?

I had my appendix removed in May 2013. This triggered the end of breast feeding with my 9 month old baby. So we started TTC right away the following month. Did you have your appendix removed via laparoscopy or did you get a large incision? Anyway, unless your dr has concerns about your TTC soon after the operation or you are in pain I believe there is no reason to wait. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.
