Question

10 Cycles-Losing Hope-HELP!

I am 24 and DH is 25. This is our 10th cycle trying. I get positives on ovulation tests CD14 or 15 every month but then start my next period within 10 or 11 days. Obviously my luteal phase is too short. Has anyone had any luck conceiving with a short luteal phase or can suggest something to lengthen it?

Since your LP is a bit short you have grounds to go to a doctor and see if they can give you meds or progesterone supplements to help you lengthen it. I definitely recommend you do that, it will help you feel more hopeful right away :) GL!

I would have progesterone tested 7 days after you think you ovulated to confirm if indeed it happened and to see how high the number is. It is possible that you experience poor ovulation and therefore a short lp. The progesterone test will be revealing. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.

Vitamin B6 can help lengthen a short luteal phase, you should check the your prenatal has enough in it too.

I agree with Phillips, have a progesterone test done to make sure you O'd. Don't give up, me and my fiance are only 20 and have been trying for 14 cycles. GL!
