When is the earliest I should take a pregnancy test?

9DPO is the day you most commonly implant, so hCG would be present after that. It's BEST to wait until after you would've missed your period as that gives the most accurate results, but if you're dying to test, 10DPO is a good day to. Just don't get discouraged at a BFN at that time as you could still be pregnant!

Implantation can take place up to 12dpo. If you can wait, 14dpo is probably your best bet to eliminate any ambiguity of "did I test too early?"

It depends on your temperament, if you view HPTs as just an experiment and you are emotionless about BFNs then you can test whenever. If you would be "devastated" by a BFN then honestly I wouldn't test until after AF is (long) overdue. GL! :)
