Question

Positive opk AFTER dramatic temp rise?

Has anyone experience a positive opk a few days after their temperature rose? I thought I had ovulated on cd12 because of a positive opk, but i could have been mistaken. my temps shot up around cd21 and after a few days of high temps, i took another opk out of curiousity and it was positive for two days (cd25 cd26) in a row. i havent tested again because i was really confused because my chart shows that i already ovulated. what confuses me more than anything is that cd24 was negative, but i may have just tested too late (11:30 pm). Can someone help me please, especially if they have experienced something similiar.....its times like this i wish i would have tested earlier for the opk :(

OPKs are much more unreliable than temps, I would always go by BBT when calculating my O day if I were you. If the temp doesn't go up then you probably didn't ovulate. Sounds like you did eventually and hopefully you were BDing. GL!
