Question

ClearBlue Digi with Weeks Estimator

Hi ladies! I was hoping someone out there would have some experience with that ClearBlue digi test with the weeks estimator. I finally got my digi bfp last Thursday and it was "1-2" which was perfect. Tested yesterday (Sunday) still "1-2" and tested this morning and still "1-2." I loathe this test right now. I thought by today (according to everything I've read online) that I should've popped over to "2-3." Had my first round of blood work done Friday, but my dr is taking her time to call me with results... super frustrating! Anyone have experience with this?

Good luck, ladies! , Lisa Me, 31... DH, 32 May 2012 - early MC June 2012, Pregnant... missed MC at 10 weeks (6w1d) D&C August 21 TTC again 2 cycles later, November 2012... waiting for my next BFP! User Image

The test reads 1-2 weeks until your HCG is above 200, so since HCG doubles every 48 hours (or so) it could definitely take some time from the first positive to go up to the "next round" on the weeks estimation. 2-3 weeks is 200-2000 (some say 2600), after which is 3+. I would call in and get those blood results because if your Friday number was 100 or less then it would easily explain Sunday's test. Keep in mind too that urine has less HCG than blood. Congrats on the positives!

Thanks! I like to over analyze everything and thought that since I got a negative on Wednesday with this test that I was probably somewhere close to 50 on Thursday (I just read that digi's usually pick up around 50). Doubling to 100 on Saturday and then 200 to today. Maybe you're right and it's still just early. Maybe I'm right on that cut off. There's a PDF on the ClearBlue site that indicates that you can get into "2-3" at around 150 too... they need to do a better job with their marketing... their tests just flat our scare me right now!

The CBE Digital is actually pretty sensitive and can pick up at levels of 25 and up, so it definitely still fits into the range of acceptable :) Also, some women HATE those tests and have gotten really inaccurate results on them, so I think it just depends on the exact test (some might be less accurate than others of the same make/model) and on the woman. If you check out my profile and HPT images I took some of those tests, I did the "math" on when my HCG would trigger 2-3 and it ended up being there at 18 DPO. Congrats again!

Omg I hate those tests!! I spent so much money trying to get a 3+ on those damn things, I finally stopped at 28dpo...never did get it tho.
The 1-2 weeks is picked up as early as 10.2miu so u could be waiting a bit before seeing the 2-3, which is like 156ish (been a while since I looked at the levels chart).
Congrats!! =))

Thanks again! I did look at your pics and they lifted my spirits! I have a history of MC's and this was a little bit of a surprise pregnancy so I started my progesterone later than I normally would have had I been tracking ovulation. I think I'm somewhere between 15-16 days DPO and when you look at the pics of tests on here for 16 DPO most are "2-3" and most of the "1-2" I saw the women ended up miscarrying. I guess you just have to try to be positive and get through the early days until you feel those amazing kicks! :)

Hi hunny! Try not to worry :) I actually called the clear blue digital customer service line two days ago and she gave me some information. To even pick up a preganncy on this, you have to have and hcg level of 25. Week 1-2 is 25 to 156. Week 2-3 is 157 to 2600. Week 3+ is anything above 2600. I hope these numbers help some. You could have been just below that. Maybe 155 or something close like that :) have you been taking other tests and are they getting darker? If yes, that's a great sign. You've got this!

I actually stopped testing with them bc they made me so upset. Got my first "1-2" on the 16th. Had blood drawn the 17th at 58. So I had to have been super low on the 16th. Then had blood drawn the 27th at 6,648. So doubling about every 31 hours. Ultrasound is on Monday afternoon!
