OPK - Does a faint line and a dark line mean i am coming into ovulation?

I understand that the OPK is not considered positive until the test line is as dark or darker than the control line. But Does a faint test line mean i am coming into ovulation? I have gone from no test line, to a faint line and its getting darker as the day goes on. I was just wondering if this just means i am coming into my peak?
