Question

Lght brown discharge, v faint First Response BFP, negative on Digital Tests and ~17 DPO. Concerned.

I am concerned I am having a chemical pregnancy and just wondered if others had experienced something similar. I am about 17 days DPO and 3-4 days late (28-29 day regular cycles). I have taken 2 First Response pink line tests and have Very faint BFPs but am negative on 2 digital tests. I have been having light brown spotting and am a little concerned that I have a chemical pregnancy (I am nearly 38 and my husband is older). Does anyone have a similar experience.

Light brown spotting isn't usually a concern. It's pretty common to have spotting in the first trimester. I have heard a lot that digital tests are not as sensitive as line tests. So wait 3-5 days and take another line test & see if you get a darker line. Hopefully you will be fine :) I have had cramping & spotting twice with this pregnancy and I'm now 18 weeks along.
