Question

Should I see a fertility doctor?

I went off the pill 7 months ago. I'm 30 years old. First 4 cycles were 28 days. Now they are irregular. I'm currently on cycle day 42. All negative pregnancy tests. I've also had surgery on my cervix for stage 1 cancer and have been fine for years. I had cryo surgery and then a LEEP. Should I just be patient or should I be seeing a specialist? Thanks

I would consider it. I'm 30 went off the pill and had very irregular cycles, the last two were 70 days then 97. I wish I'd known sooner that was not not normal. I got a referral after 10 months of trying and now I'm seeing a fertility dr to sort this out. It could be something as simple as your hormone levels are off.

I can't think of any reason not to see an RE, so I'd say see if you can.
