Late watery period...help!!

August 24th was the first day of my last normal period, my normal 4 days.on the last day my fiance and i had unprotected sex. Then in september it was 5 days late. When it finally came it was really watery and had to use a pad, ans it lasted for 2 days. I am now experiencing pregnancy symptoms but i am unsure as to if i am pregnant or if there is something wrong like a cyst. I took a hpt and it was negative but that was the midde of september. Did i test early, should i take another, should i go straight to the doctor??? Some one please help me out!
