What would cause a temperature shift (and obvious biphasic cycle) other than ovulation?
I have very irregular cycles. The first time I got pregnant was using clomid as the doctor checked my progesterone and confirmed I was not ovulating. However, what would cause a temp shift if not ovulation, is that possible? I have cycles that are 60 days, 45 days, 80 days, etc. but before AF, I always have a temp shift, the 14 or so days after ovulation, or so I assumed. I just had a progesterone test yesterday and confirmed I am not ovulating yet I am on 12 DPO according to my calendar and BBT charting...thoughts? Does this happen to anyone else?

member memberThis happened to me once before. I have been on medicated cycles for the past 16 months and have been ovulating regularly confirmed by blood test and temperature chart. During one specific month I was without medications due to cysts, but received a positive opk at home which was followed up at the dr's office with blood test and ultrasound. According to those tests a follicle was mature, estrogen was proper, etc, and we triggered ovulation. The temperatures on my chart went up after ovulation as usual, however the blood test one week later showed just a level of 3 which means no ovulation. To this day I am confused why my temperatures went up and remained elevated during the lp despite "no ovulation" shown through the blood test. I am sorry that I can't give you an answer why and how this is possible. My dr was not able to give an explanation either. I just wanted to let you know that it has happened to me before.
