Sex and exercise before first prenatal visit?
I believe I am 4 weeks pregnant but doctor cannot see me until 8 weeks. If everything is progressing normally (seemingly) can we go ahead and have sex and exercise or should we wait for the green light from the doctor after she has examined me. I initially had some spotting which disappeared and than I took another HPT which resulted in a BFP.

I think unless you are in a very high-risk group you can definitely have sex throughout pregnancy. My doctors told me that anyway! Exercise is perfectly safe as long as you aren't lifting extremely heavy weights (or using bad form or holding your breath), raising your body temperature too much, or doing maximum-heart-rate sprinting.

As luvtowalkfast said, sex is perfectly safe unless you have a high risk pregnancy. Just be aware that you can spot after sex because your cervix is more engorged with blood. It might be a little scary at first (it was for me) but it's normal to have a bit of spotting after irritating the sensitive cervix.
Also, I wanted to mention that everything that I have read, and even have heard straight from my doctor, has said that exercise is safe as long as you were active before pregnancy. You are safe to keep up the level of fitness that is familiar to you, but you don't want to push yourself, especially in this time of critical development for baby.
