Question

When to start OPK?

Which cycle day is the best to start taking OPKs? Also, does the FMU rule apply to OPKs as well?

It depends on how long your cycle is. If you have a "normal" cycle, you'd ovulate around CD14, so you'd want to start testing a couple days before then to catch your surge.
My OPKs were only accurate in the afternoon, and it changes from woman to woman. If you'd like to figure out what's normal for you, you should take one in the morning and one in the evening to get a better idea about when your surge is.
