Provera After Miscarriage
I went in for a 6 week ultrasound on 7/28 and got to see my beautiful baby and its heartbeat. Come to find out at my 8 week appt I had a miscarriage at 6wks and 3 days. Was issued 2 rounds of Cytotec (First one on 8/11 which miscarried the baby; and second the end of August because ultrasound still showed not a full miscarriage). Was then given Provera 1 pill for 10 days which the last pill was 9/22 to induce a cycle bc my HCG was low enough they thought it would work. I know it can take until 14 days but I normally start before now. Has anyone had it take longer bc it was after a miscarriage (today is day 10)? My HCG levels were down to 6 9/29 but they can't do my testing to see why I have miscarried 3 times until I'm 1-3 points lower. I still haven't started a bleed which is my main concern bc I can't start trying again until then when they know the cause of miscarriages. Anybody have a similar experience??

Thank you! I still have a lot of hope. After the second miscarriage (the first was ectopic second natural) I was told if I had one more I would have to do IVF. Now I will likely still get to try just with medication so there is always a silver lining. I appreciate it though :)

I took some Provera and didn't bleed until after 14 days, so it is possible. The Provera wiped out my estrogen and I didn't ovulate next cycle (I think it was prescribed at the wrong time in my cycle). I think your hormones will just be really upset, you could try something natural like Vitex and Redclover capsuals to try and regulate your cycle. I would also start taking a really good prenatal with folate in it. Very sorry for your loss, *Hugs*
