Question

Chlomid question!

Hi my husband and I took a yr to conceive our first and its been 17 months ttc our second. All tests were fine except progesterone was low at 21 day blood draw. No further tests were done for progesterone or to check if ovulation was occuring. Is that right? Well I have my appt tomorrow to decide if they will do anything for us or not..Im thinking about if we get put on chlomid would be the likely event if any but wanted to know do they test or scan you to pinpoint ovulation? Also what can I do to see if it defo is happening? Iv used opks all along which can be positive but I know that doesnt particularly mean ovulation has occured so want to do something to be certain its happening n when if we start chlomid. Thanks x

I can tell you what my Dr does, you take the Clomid as told. About day 10 they blood test to see if LH and estrogen is rising. Then when the bloods read correct you can get a scan. I ovulate day 11/12 then about day 20 they blood test again (progesterone level) to see if ovulation has taken place. The Clomid should make you ovulate if you are not.
