Question

Scared of the cramping.

I had cramping with my last pregnancy that ended in MC.

This time around, I got a very strong BFP at (I assume) 9DPO. But I've been having strong-ish menstrual like cramps. They're in my entire back (where I usually get them) and they only last a few seconds to a minute.

I know I'm probably worried for nothing and making an appointment. But until then, I'm a worry wart lol.

Is it normal?

I always have had bad cramping in my normal pregnancies. The time to worry is if the cramping is accompanied by bleeding. Hang in there. It's normal to cramp and worry, unless of course the pain becomes continuous and severe.

I had three miscarriages before conceiving in August and was terrified that something bad was happening when I started cramping, and then spotting, by 14DPO. I made an appointment with my primary care immediately. I had my betas done two days apart and everything rose as it should. I am now almost 10 weeks along.
Cramping in early pregnancy is normal! I would've sworn I was starting AF if I didn't already have that BFP.
I was told that cramping is fine, as long as you don't have a fever and are not bleeding enough to fill a pad or more per hours. Also, if the cramps are limited to one specific spot, say near an ovary, it CAN signal an ectopic, and that's worth investigating.
Your uterus starts stretching immediately at the presence of hCG to make the preparations for baby, so you get to feel that tugging, crampy feeling whenever that happens.
I hope I put your mind at ease at least a little!
Good luck and congratulations!
