Ovulation is normally 24-36 hours after your first positive. So tomorrow is actually best! Depending on how late he gets back you should be able to sneak it in just in time.

It's actually best to start trying before ovulation occurs so you already have sperm waiting on the egg. If you're getting a positive now, I would try today, tomorrow, then two days after so that you have tried at all of the possible ovulation times to give yourself a good chance. Good luck!

I thought it was best the day before..just not possible with his job which is so frustrating :/ he always seems to be away at the time if ovulation. I will try anyway as soon as he gets home and then over the weekend thank you and baby dust to you all x

Yes, ovulation can occur as early as 12 hours after and as late as 72 hours but the majority will be between 24 and 36 hours. It would be safest to get in one bd the day of the positive to have it there waiting but it's not always necessary. You can still catch the egg for up to 12 hours after it is released.
