I'm new to trying to conceive and have a few questions, please help! :)
I had a period from 8/29-9/1. I stopped birth control on 9/6 and had period again from 9/11-9/14. I've been using a tracking app and it says I should have ovulated on 9/25. I had sex a couple times befor and after that date. I'm 4DPO and feeling bloated, cramping, similar to period cramps, and a bit more tired than usual. I was wondering what these symptoms mean.

It doesn't mean anything. Even if your app was correct (they usually aren't), at 4 dpo you wouldn't be having pregnancy symptoms yet. Implantation of a fertilized egg occurs between 6-12 dpo, with 9 being avg. After you ovulate, your body releases progesterone which causes both PMS & early pregnancy symptoms, so there is no real way to know the difference until you test. However, since you just got off birth control, that complicates things bc it takes most women a few months to regulate after stopping. It looks like the app based your o date on a 28 day cycle, however, your cycle may not be 28 days off of bc. If your cycle lengthens or shortens, it will change your fertile window. It is possible you caught the egg this month, but it is too early to tell. If you aren't pregnant, I recommend tracking your cycle & judging your o date by something other than an app (cm & opk).

No, it varies from woman to woman. Some women take a long time to regulate after a couple of months & some regulate right away. I was on the pill for 15 straight years. It only took me 3 mos to regulate again, and once I did I was like clockwork. Period was every 31 days. Went on to conceive two girls with no issues at 33 and almost 36. You do not o on the pill, so it just depends on how fast your ovaries restart. Everyone is different.
