Different tests, different results
I'm 21DPO today, period is 4 days late. I've been taking lots of pregnancy tests since 14DPO (probably too many). My first round of tests around 14-17DPO were the First Response, all negative. I started using the New Choice/Dollar Tree brand on 19DPO and got a very fainy line after the window had passed. The next morning, same. 20DPO in the afternoon, the test was faintly positive after 3 minutes and other tests since have been faint. Is it likely these can all be evaporation lines? Yesterday I took a Clear Blue Digital that read "not pregnant" and another this morning with same results. Which of these tests are more sensitive? Shouldn't the line be darker by now? I've read forums that said blood tests are not as sensitive as urine tests. I'm so very lost :-/ This will be my second pregnancy and I got a strong positive early on with that one.

Hey KBB124,
AF was 5 days late when I took my first test. I took it with FMU and it was an Answers test from WalMart and it showed a pretty standard positive within a few seconds of taking it. I took a Clear Blue Digital test that afternoon and it came up pregnant and then 1-2 weeks. From what I understand blood tests are more sensitive than urine tests. I would say if you are late and still getting BFN they are probably pretty accurate. Up until this time I would be late and always get BFN's :(
