I don't know what a "faint negative" means, can you explain that?

I'm assuming you're saying it's negative because the line is faint, but when it comes to hpt's, a line is a line. If you've got one, even a faint one, it's positive as long as it appeared within the proper timeframe. Your levels are likely just not high enough to get a dark positive, yet, but will get there over time. As a general rule, your hcg level will double every other day. If you're iffy about your result, you can wait a couple days and test again. A digital test may be a good option for you, as well, as it simply declares "pregnant" or "not pregnant" (or "yes" or "no" depending on the brand). Two things to be aware of when using a digi: They're not as sensitive as most | | tests, so you'll want to give it a couple days for hcg levels to rise a bit; and don't make the mistake of taking the test apart to look at the strip if it's a bfn. Ack...my response was cut short even though I was within the limit. Anyway, even though the screen read negative, some women are tempted to take it apart and look at the strip, then get their hopes up when they see two lines. Digi's work completely differently and read characteristics of the lines, not whether there is one or two. So, trust what the screen says for that time. If you're testing early, it's possible that your levels aren't high enough and you may get a bfp later, but for that moment in time, if the screen says you're not pregnant, you just have to go with that.

Like I just ment the line was super faint n took a while to pop up. Wen usually in the past it would show up fast n the line would be rlly blue this one is rlly faint n took a while to pop up.
