As far as I know, first response are all pink tests? Are you sure it was first response you were using? The blue dye tests can give very convincing looking false positives, if you are seeing a strong enough looking line, why not use a digital test? If it comes back positive, bring it to your Dr, and get another blood test. Your HCG is higher in your blood than urine so there is no way you can have a positive urine test and negative HCG. Some Drs count a low HCG level as not pregnant until it reaches a certain threshold, so if that was the case your level should be higher after a couple days.

Just saw it! That looks positive to me, but I've seen some mean blue dye evaps. I would definitely grab a digital and see what it says :) Good luck to you!

Qualitative blood tests usually need an HCG level of 30 to be "positive," while urine tests can be much more sensitive. I have heard of some picking up HCG levels of under 10! So it is definitely possible to get a positive HPT and a negative blood test, especially since it is still early. I would continue doing the home tests maybe every other day, the same brand, and see if the line gets darker. If you are pregnant you should be able to test positive with blood very soon, since the HCG doubles quickly. It's too bad they didn't do a quantitative blood test to see exactly what your levels were, if they were 29 then it would be "negative" but you'd definitely be pregnant. GL! :)

Hi sarita same thing is hapend me before 1 year back. go for transavaginal scan.it shows every thing.Dont panic and all the best

If you are that early in a pregnancy a scan would not show anything and would probably cause unnecessary panic.
