What have you done so far? Opk's and temping are really helping me this cycle. Are you tracking cm for fertility signs? Those are probably the most helpful steps you can take. How long have you been ttc?

I've been wanting another baby since 2012. We have had two losses since. We've tried clomid successful once which ended with the loss of our twins. I track my cervical positions and CM. I recently given up hope and got the Merina IUD. I had it removed the 18th and today had what I'm assuming to be a positive opk. I've also been cramping in my back and switches from once side to another for two days. And was a little nauseous this morning.

I'm so sorry for your losses. It's an encouragement to know you're capable of conceiving, at least. With two consecutive losses, you may be able to be monitored by a risk ob when you get your next bfp. I've had several friends who have had success carrying to full term after losses with the help of high risk doctors. I've been experiencing nausea, cramps, and back pain with ov ever since my m/c in May. This is only my second cycle trying, but totally missed my ov signs last cycle because of how different they are. Temping along with opk's has helped me. I haven't had my thermal shift, yet, despite being three days out from my + opk, so the temps are providing good info. I would bd every other day for the next several days following your +opk. If it were me, I'd likely continue to test just to make there's not a second lh surge since you're just coming off of bc. If/when you get your bfp, I'd discuss the possibility of having a high risk dr be a part of the pregnancy.

I'm truly thankful that your taking the time to discuss this with me. I don't feel I'm completely infertile I do how ever have pcos so the clomid is helpful for us. We are hoping it can help us again. I have heard your suppper fertile after IUD so I'm hoping it's true. I've been seeing my Dr 2 times a month and she's already discussed me being a high risk pregnancy patient when the time comes. I'm just looking for more reassurance I suppose. And more support in my journey. My husband is very supportive but also don't know what to say or do being we've been suffering with this together. Again Thank you!

No problem! My friends who have been cared for by high risk dr's said that extra support is a real comfort. I think if you can get your timing right, you'll see your bfp and you already know your ob is in plans to arrange extra pre-natal care, so that's bound to be a relief. If for some reason you don't get a bfp this cycle, I can only say that the temping has really helped me out this cycle. I'd have never guessed I wouldn't have ovulated until cd 20 after getting my +opk on cd 17, but judging by temp this morning, that's exactly what it looks like has happened. It'll take a couple more days in this temp range to confirm ov, but as far as I'm concerned, I'm 1 dpo and in the tww, now. There's a really good chance I'd have missed my peak fertility without temping. I likely missed it by a week almost last cycle by not temping or testing. For me, the more info I can gather, the better I feel. At the end of the day, odds are against all of us! A reminder of the miracle of childbirth!
