Question

Help me!!

Hello! So I am now on cycle day 58 with no period! I have had no signs or symptoms of pregnancy or my period coming. Two days ago marked my 2nd missed period. I need to know what happens to your body and uterus when you do not have a period. Does your uterine lining continue to thicken and when I finally have my period will it be crazy heavy and painful? Or does the uterine lining stop thickening after a while? I have a doctors appointment tomorrow and will talk with her about all that has been going on. The day before my first missed period (when I took my final birth control pill) my husband and I decided we would not get another pack of bc pills because we were going to start trying. But my final period never came. So regardless if I would have continued to take bc after my "period" , it never came. I could understand if it was the second period I missed because of coming off bc. I'm just so confused. Please help!

Coming off of bc pills it can take time for your body to get back to normal. Or you could have a hormone imbalance. Tomorrow when you go to your doctors make sure she take blood. I don't think it is anything to worry about. After my miscarriage I developed a hormone imbalance and I wasn't have normal monthly they gave me progrestrione for about ten days and it started my period and I have been regular since. But I have been TTC for the past 4 months and no luck so I'm two days late with some symptoms I took a test this morning and it was a BFN :( I'm not loosing hope yet I will test again at 21 days past ovulation in like 5 more days and I hope for a BFP. I wish you all the luck and plenty of baby dust your way if wished.

Jennifer1985 when you finally got your period was it really bad?

It was bright red with clots and lasted two days longer. It was a little heavier than what my normal was. But just like the dr told me how do you know what your normal is if you have been on birth control for all these years. I wish you luck today. Just don't stress out. Everything will work out and be ok. Stress can also cause your period to be irregular.
